cabrioman 6 Posted February 7, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 well been out there today in the cold and have managed to ..fitt 312mm front brakes,fitt all new rear brakes and wheel bearings,bleed brakes,re-fitt the rear seat and n/s/f seat,re-fitt the dash trims and radio,fitt the new gauge pod in, run my new draft42 boost gauge tubin and resistor,pis to follow when battery charged lol now if i can only get the engine and gearbox built ..... jims13 6 Posted February 8, 2009 Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 very nice.. was t hard to mount the gauges.. or did you just slot it in the radio hole.. i was toying with covering up the gap, ala mk1 gti, and sticking the radio back in its orig place.. but im waiting to order my new gauges.. im going for the analog ones not the digi units..i think.. cabrioman 6 Posted February 8, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 8, 2009 not hard at all mate just cut a section of carbon fiber i had, put 3 holes in it, got a new cubby hole and cut a slot in the top and down the sides to how far donw i wanted it to sit, slide the carbon fiber in and pop the gagues in buzz them up and bobs uncle and fannys ur aunt, one custom gague pod Link to post Share on other sites
