Bit of background; The ABS light is currently on, and the wiring to the O/S front ABS sensor has in the past been catching on the CV gater and has worn through the wiring slightly. We were happily cruising at about 60, and all of a sudden it felt like the brakes were applied (without going anywhere near the pedal) for a couple of seconds and the ABS light went off and stayed off. Very very odd, It didn't feel like the engine died for a couple of seconds, but more like a very sharp press on the brake pedal.Anyone experienced this? Could this be the ABS applying the brakes?
