Phat VR6 3
its where the boost pressure is building up struggling to flow thought the manifold Isn't there anyway you can run it without the spark plug holes as it would flow much better without themStunning fab work tho
r36 syncro 0
Hi Phat, You are completely right we are looking at ways to improve the prototype all the time as you can imagine it was a lot of fabrication work just to get it this far but give us a couple of weeks and we should have it sorted. tomvr 0
Holy cow that is immense, shame those lumps are so expensive to get hold of compared to older vr lumps
pops 1
was it made from, 1mm ally plate ? obvousily needs alot more strength to take the pressure, that rubber pipe with the tape around it needs replacing too inflates like a balloon under pressure, nice manifold , looking good don`t always work for big power though
r36 syncro 0
The manifold is made from 6- 8mm ally plate ,Thats what 2 bar of boost does unfortunately. you have to remember that this is only a prototype design we have a new version to put on this monday so stay tuned.what do you run pops ?do your pipes flex... Phat VR6 3
Is the new one going to look anything like this? Just an idea I had but thinking about it, it might cause uneven flow?? might not matter been FI
