soulVR6 0 Posted November 14, 2008 Author Report Share Posted November 14, 2008 rear tyres are 245/40/17 and fronts are 215/40/17 but i am getting a full set of tyres with 35 instead of 40 so it will look better. i did want 16's but i got them for 280 so i won't complain. thanks for the feedback though. might still sell them on cause i do want the bbs rs wheels. anyone know where i can get a set from and also does anyone know anyone who would buy these ones. cheers lads. I dont think the mk3 itself suits such a staggerd look. I would personally have either dish all round or no dish all round.As rim disign goes though they are nice! Link to post Share on other sites
Patvr6 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Report Share Posted November 16, 2008 I think they look nice, except for the rear tyres, this was the same look i was going for on my car, and ended up selling my rims to fund the crash repairs to my car. I wanted to be different and have something new, but my mate now has them on his GTi and everyone looks at the car when he is driving, do you not get any rubbing issues, my mates ones are 17 by 8.5 front and 17 x 8.5 rear. here is a picture. I will try and get some pictures of the car in the daylight.Change your rear tyres and maybe do something like this. Its good to be different. my mate will be colour coding his ones and mirror polishing the lips. will look out for you if you are in southeast London. Link to post Share on other sites
