cliveyp 0
would you not run a hydraulic arrangement in a MK2 VR6 though?? I certainly would expect too!
doxer79 0
im not sure mine has a cable, swaped it over it feels like new,.............. how would i know if its hydraulic?? dont all ,well most cars have clutch cables???
doxer79 0
sorry yeah it is in a mk2
cliveyp 0
VR's don't have a cable if the've got a hydraulic clutch. Obviously yours is running a cable operated one.
FishWick 21
Unless he's put an 020 box onto a VR6 bell housing, there's no way it's a cable clutch. Might not even be a VR6?
doxer79 0
could this mean its a corrado engine?

Might not even be a VR6?[/quote']Now - I've only ever seen one VR6 into MKII conversions close up, and this one had a Heath Robinson setup where it looked like a bracket had been fabricated from another car, possible a mkII golf(?), to adapt a cable clutch in place of the hudraulics... and it did look like a bona-fide 02A box as well....Jules
doxer79 0
whats a 02A box? mine has an arm with the cable attached via a bracket i think im using a mk2 16v cable, it changes gear sweet as, i can leave most mk3 vrs at the lights! ;P does anyone know if it is possable to get hudraulic system into a mk2 and would it be of any benefit
