Dave Lea 4 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Share Posted December 6, 2008 when mine was standerd i was geting mid 15sec with a super chip and six branch and toyo tyres was getting high 14sec with vgi inlet race engine mounts lower front strut brace rear seats out and road legal slicks i am getting mid to lo 14sec ..better tyres make a big diference Link to post Share on other sites

Just wondered if the basic mods made much impact or boost/charged is the only way to get lower numbers?Used to run a 70's opel kadett with an isuzzu turbo lump with gas that went very well. just fancied the odd rwyb and the old traffic light battle! Not in a VR6.. but Corrados' date=' Golfs, Fabia VRS, also rear wheel drive vehicles too When running the Fabia VRS, when the traction control was switched on it could slow me down, sometimes up to a second.The Mk5 Golf GT Sport i have run made no real difference with traction control on or off... infact it was slightly better with it onI prefer to have it turned off where possible.
