jonny6 0 Posted December 6, 2008 Report Share Posted December 6, 2008 how would you go about raising the rev limit on a vr to 7k ? what parts engine work would be needed ? ive read a bit about cams and valve springs , I also read somthing about valve float , didnt go into this much ... any one shad any light ? thanks jonny. GVK 1 Posted December 7, 2008 Report Share Posted December 7, 2008 You can get the limiter raised via a remap from such places as C2 motorsport, Stealth etc - if you're running 268 cams some people recommend you run uprated valve springs to control valve float at high revs - iIm running stock springs on mine and it's regularly revved to 7k on track days.
