I really want to go... will see what the weather is looking like closer to the date

the decent weather proviso applies to us all I think. F all point going if it's raining.

Been there done that... however i think waking up at the pod to see snow was the worst

Easter thunderball last year....

Been there done that... however i think waking up at the pod to see snow was the worst

Easter thunderball last year....

snow !! thats not snow ;);) - at the ring we had about two feet in one night which was so heavy all the tents collapsed !!!!!! i have never been so cold in my life +o(

That sounds like fun.... NOT.... glad it was you and not me....

We are lucky our camper has double glazed windows and a night heater/central heating so we didn't realise it had been snowing until we opened the curtains and door.

But it did mean no racing :(

However we were able to drink through it :)

a heater oh you lucky so and so !!!! even worse for us because of the very slow 6 hour drive back to the port we could not even have a drink :-( :-( :-(

this was packing up at lunchtime !! if it's like this at the pod I am not camping !!

any 1 know how much it is to get in if ya not racing? might pop along sat night just to say hello

Here is all the info for the weekend - sorry would have been easier to find if I had not hijacked the thread with tales of snow :$ :$ :$

Experience the thrill of night racing at Santa Pod Raceway. The sights and sounds of the raceway are intensified by the night air. All types of vehicles' date=' from hot rods to hot hatches, dragsters to bikes are invited to use the track for day and night racing.

The track is open from 9am-9pm (weather and track conditions permitting) with additional attractions of:

The 270mph Fireforce 3 Jet Funny Car

[u']Free Pole Dancing Shows :o :-p

Catering & Bar Facilities

Evening Music Entertainment

There is also free camping for those wishing to stay over for the Sunday Run What Ya Brung, and of course all clubs are welcome.

Gates open at 8am. Signing on costs £30 per driver for unlimited runs from 9am to 9pm, £25 per driver for unlimited runs from 9am to 4pm, and £10 per driver for unlimited runs from 4pm to 9pm. Driving Licence required. Entry costs £10 for a full-day ticket and £20 for a two-day ticket (£15 in advance), Free camping with two-day tickets.

well nicks on and tape doesn't really count as pole dancing in my book !!

I was going to describe it as duct/duck tape but thought he might have an automatic search agent for such terms. ;-)
