cabrioman 6
oh rite ok ... by the looks of that the vr one is the same as any other .... best way is it to unpug the one in the car and see all 4 wires are used ... see if ther eis 3 or 4 pins in the sender and go from there mate

supadupagt4 0
I figured this out.Th ein tank fuel pump/sender unit had a wire broke off.. so i soldered it back on and all is working again. The 3 wire unit from a vr6 wont work in the 4 wire unit on the car as 4 wires are needed. On the 3 wire unit there is a potentiometer to regulate the voltage when full empty tank.tony.
VR6_SYNCRO 0
hi, my feul gage in my vr only moved to the 1/4 mark, but only when it was full to the brim, otherwise it never moved. iv replaced the sender unit and it still has the same problem... any ideas?
supadupagt4 0
jay, check ur wiring.. on the top of the pump. in the tank there is a mechanism that tells the gauge how full the tank is. check wires on this. check fuse under dash. and check wires under dash. i'll post which ones later on. tony.
