Step by Step guide for rear brake caliper/disc removal

Recommended Posts

Hi all

This may be a dumb question but does anybody have a link or a guide on how to remove the VR6 rear discs/calipers as I need to get to the ABS sensor.

Something with pictures would be ideal but I can't seem to find anything to help a novice such as me on this forum or on t'internet

cheers

Im ordering discs tonight or tomorrow and when I get em i'll try and remember to take pics. If discs/pads come for thursday and friday i'll do it then.....snow dependant that is.

And have I answered more questions then......i just answer all questions if i know the answer. The same in person as well

lol looks as though me and you have got the same issue. Just a bit of advice the caliper carrier is held with 2 bolts which are known to get seized so if you can get under the car or on a ramp just look at the back with rear wheels off and spray some WD40 or lubricating fluid and leave for few hours one these can come off its easy from there,im sure I have seen a guide somewhere I will have a look and see if i can find you the link :)
