b_singh 0
hi all, i have changed my fuel pump as my sensor had gone, question is that my car has lost its "poke" after the new pump was installed. I have been assured that its the correct one for my car although i have not yet matches the part numbers for the unit with the old one as i had to fit it lastnight under street lighting. I have a odb2 engine, could the pump be a possible cause? One thing that i havent done was install jubilee clips for the fuel hoses as i didnt have any at the time so temporarily cable tied them until later today when il get them, as i have been told that air could be getting through.....has anyone had any ideas with regards to this?thanks in advance! adam_christie 0
Could be possible mate. The jubilee clips are much tighter than cable ties, in fact the cable ties could be letting fuel out between the pump connection and the fuel hose! Put jubilee clips on immediately!
