MAHOSTRIDERDG 0
Mine started to rattle a little in first an when slowing down.....then the whine started...about a week later it went bang and the gears and part of the bell housing bust out on da road..NIGHTMARE ..took me 6 weeks to get a decent gearbox from England (to Ireland )an fitted..Get it looked at before its too late. Bigjobbo 0
The boxes are repairable if you catch them in time. The casing expands around the diff bearing (whine or rumble) and the bearings shoot out and blow a hole in the casing (bang). I repaired mine for 80 notes, when it was rumbling it's nuts off in every gear. Try the oil change first as cabrioman mentioned.
