xyber 1
looks like you need a new heat exchanger, looks like the seal had gone, you may find oil getting into your coolant reservior, but from the pic it looks like its just the seal between the exchanger and the lump. They are a well know weak point and not much to fix

xyber 1
Drain the oilDrain the coolant (if you have 2 small clamps you can clamp the pipes ontop of the exchanger instead of draining)undo the 2 pipes on top of the heat exchangerunscrew the centre cap and it falls away from the enginerefit new exchanger after give the seal a like smear of oiltighten centre cap up by hand and then 1/4 with a wrench (needs to be tight to seal but not swung on with a socket)refit pipesmay aswell change the oil filter whilst your thererefil oil and waterstart engine and check for leaksdone! biggee30 0
Drain the oilunscrew the centre cap and it falls away from the enginerefit new exchanger after give the seal a like smear of oilMarc maybe stupid questions butIs the red arrow the center cap you mention?Where is the seal the yellow or blue arrow in the picture?Where does cooler attach to the engine in the pictureAnd from this picture is it the seal thats failed or do Ineeda new coolercheers
xyber 1
Red is the centre cap, both the others are seals, but sometimes it can be the seam on the cooler starts to leak. The centre cap is attached to a threaded bar the screws into the engine, self explantory when you get it apart. The seals are not replacable as they are bonded to the cooler
