thegoth 5 Posted January 25, 2009 Report Share Posted January 25, 2009 There may be a plastic lead removal tool attached to your bonnet prop, or else GSF sell metal ones. Or as you are replacing the leads, brute force! A normal plug socket will work as long as you have enough extention bits to reach, Link to post Share on other sites

gavinvr6 0 Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 please always use the correct vr6 removal tool. i pulled on the middle front lead to pop it off as all the others came off easily when i was using the lead removal tool and i pulled the lead out of the socket, and beleive me its not fun trying to get that bit off the plugstrange thing is i didnt ecven realise that was actually the plug removal tool when i first got my vr, i though it was part of the bonnet prop lol Link to post Share on other sites
