jaysVR6 2
Guys, I really need a hand here. As some of you may know my drivers side window is stuck up. I replaced the mechanism a few months ago (not the motor £200 new!!!) but noticed the motor was getting hot. It worked fine for a bit then stopped again a couple of hours later. I greased the plastic wheel (its not stripped of teeth) and loosened the bolts off a bit and its been working ever since up to monday. I don't know if to get a motor, find a part have got me one second hand £45 with mechanism and replace the lot again or not. Could it be anything else? As taking off that door card and taking out the whole thing really pisses me off!!!PS I can hear the switch and relay klicking so its not electrical like that.[ Edited ][ Edited ][ Edited ]

cliveyp 0
mine did that. One condition when i bought it was that he got the window working, which he did, then a couple of weeks back it stopped. Could here the relay click too, but it wouldn't open. Follwing day it worked fine, and has done ever since! I'm presuming mine is tight runners...
