S3Graham 0 Posted February 26, 2009 Author Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 Most definitely!!! it may not be a THAT much faster, But handles better, build quailty is on another level, its easier and cheaper to get more power. £400 quid gets your 265Bhp reliably. But its one of those cars which is harder to work on yourself and there is alot more to go wrong, 4x4 etc. Closest match to the VR i can think of so far is the E30 325.. it makes a noise just as nice, is faster (IMO), More fun (RWD) but its much older, prone to rust and uses far more petrol. 20mpg if your lucky! + 325 sports are worth mega money these days!!! no idea why but some mugs pay £5k+ for them!
