rossvr6 0
My Borbet A's finally came yesterday and as per the title the inside of the rim is grinding on the front brake pads. Never heard of any problems when fitting the 7.5j's! Any suggestions?? They are 7.5j all round 16" 5x100. Anyone had similar problems? Would shaving a bit off them be a bad idea? All help appreciated I'm desperate to get them on! Cheers, Rossp.s don't really wanna use spacers!
CorradoVR6-n.o.s 0
catching the pads?! you mean caliper?
rossvr6 0
Yeh it's the pads, the wheel will hardly turn unless really forcing it and its scored a line around the centre of the wheel! Any ideas? Cheers

rossvr6 0
Cheers for the replies... Just running standard brakes with et20 all round, didn't think clearance would be an issue! So looks like i'll be getting some spacers hopefully 10mm each side should sort it? What ones people generally use, FK?

Ben Seabrook 4
Looks very nice with the borbets on it matey i know they recommend copper grease to keep them from seizing so it might be worth putting some of that on and leaving for a couple of days ??
rossvr6 0
Cheers Ben Sounds like a plan. I tried a screwdriver in the notch and then hammering and also the hammer on the c spanner, no amount of wd40 was helping!
