DasAutoVR6 0
Hi folks, hoping to paint the vr6's engine cover satin black tomorrow. Is there a how to guide on here or does anyone have any best practice, i.e. parts used. Thanks

Ben Seabrook 4
sorrydont be sorry mate - i have moved it into a better section for you - if you are painting the plastic cover then you can prob paint it in normal paint but if you are planning on painting the manifold then you will need heat resistant paint - which you can buy from most car acessory places
DasAutoVR6 0
Just going to do the plastic cover for the time being. There does seem to be quite a few cars on here with the same done, so hopefully it will be as straight forward as i think. I guess, dismantle - clean - rub down - primer coats - rub down - paint........
