bobveedub 0 Posted February 23, 2009 Report Share Posted February 23, 2009 Hi,my vr golf has become a bit wobbly, so i took the car to a garage to get wheels balanced and they pointed out that my top mounts were worn therefore having play.the question is do i need to by special top mounts as they are FK coilovers (i think) or can i just buy stock VR?also is this a big job? ill be taking to a garage anyway!thanks! Make sure you get the bearings as wellIts an easy job to do, you don't even need to fully remove the suspension... if a garage is doing it make sure they dont take your shocks all the way off otherwise you'll need to get the tracking and camber re-set Link to post Share on other sites
