S3Graham 0 Posted February 26, 2009 Report Share Posted February 26, 2009 I was told when i bought my car that the chain has started to make ever so slight noise, but that it wasnt anything to worry about until i got worse. My question is, at what point do you decide thats too noisy it needs changing?? Only reason being after not using my car for 2 days i got in, started it up and i thought it was rattling like a good-un. Turns out it was just noisy tappets as after 10mins driving it all quieted down and i was revving it once stopped at work and there was only very very slight noise. I'm really not looking forward to possibly spending £800 on a car which i bought for £1000!! i think when its due i'll have to think long and hard about what to do with it!!
