spadam 7 Posted March 17, 2009 Report Share Posted March 17, 2009 Ive been losing coolant now for around a month very slightly. about max to min in about 400 miles. so far i have changed the cap and the expansion bottle as water seemed to be coming out the expanison bottle valve. anyway im still losing coolant. The 2 pipes that go to where the thermostat housing is feel very hard after driving it. worried it maybe headgasket but i have no mayo in cap or oil in water. the cars an obd2 80,000 miles 1998 registered. if the headgasket has gone how much is this going to cost to replace any help much appreciated.
