twoscoops 0
RightI have already know that I need to copper grease my brakes between the pads and the calipers but I have also noticed that the squeal gets louder when I am turning and I am hearing a slight rubbing noise all the time now. Is this all down to the brakes or is there something else I need to be checking because it is driving me nuts!Cheers!!!Tim
Ben Seabrook 4
have you recently changed the suspension ?
twoscoops 0
No mate, I bought the car about a month ago and the history shows that nothing major has been done in the last 6-9 months. I am planning to do the service myself but if I cant bottom this out then I might have to get someone to have a look at it. Cheers
vonboyclehoffen 0
I have a similar problem at the moment. I changed the suspension to Weitec coilies a while ago, had it all laser alligned, then it went into the garage to replace a bearing the other week. they told me that the tracking was out, so they're re-done it. The car now pulls more to the left than before and whines/ groans when turning right!!Back in next week for the idiots to sort out.Maybe yours is a tracking problem too? twoscoops 0
Well that is a possibility mate because I have noticed that it does pull slightly to the left and I had been thinking about getting it 4 wheel aligned.
vonboyclehoffen 0
I think the "pulling to the left" is a common thing with vr's mind. Still did it on mine even after 4 wheel alignment. At the moment i can't let go of the wheel though for fear of running down a pedestrian
twoscoops 0
haha mate thats never good...mines not too far away from being that bad. Worst when you back off when you have been booting it a bit.
kie_dub 0
might sound daft but have you checked the power steering fluid and is the power steering working ok? i was getting a whining noise and it was the power steering
Bigjobbo 0
Just to add, most cars will pull left due to the camber on the roads. Best way of telling other than forking out is uneven tyre wear/scrubbing. You could always drive in the middle of the road and see if it still pulls. In all honesty a noise on turning can be a number of things, so it's hard to point out. I do not condone driving in the middle of the road by the way.
