Ive got to say it has tons of grip through the corners when your pushin it, but for some reason, i thought it would be much quicker than the vr. bulldog 2 Posted April 4, 2009 Report Share Posted April 4, 2009 My TT has the same engine and quattro system as the S3, and it's quicker and better on fuel than the VR6, it handles better, the only thing is the sound, nothing sounds like a VR on song. A remap is a waste of time tooo, I had my last TT mapped by amd to 270 bhp, it was 0.5 sec to 60mph and did 158mph so 7 mph faster, but it lost all it's midrange torque it had so you were constantly changing gear if you were at low revs. After a VR6 you would hate the lack of torque a remapped 4 pot has.Best way to get more power and keep it better for normal driving is to go for a bigger turbo, intercooler, ecu green injectors etc....http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d13/bulldogstaffy/DSCN44092779.jpg Link to post Share on other sites
