OH MY CHRIST!!!

i've just sat and read through all 46 pages of this thread, and all i can say is WOW!

Paul you are a proper legend, and i think ill be enlisting your help when i turbo the Rado VR.

Noticed you made solid mounts for yours and for another local lad, dont suppose you fancy making another set? My Rado's mounts are getting a bit tired....

And if there's a spare seat when she's back on the road id love to get a ride in this, give me some idea of what the rado be like when she's sorted!

oh, and im organising a RR day for me and some mates 7th aug at RE.Worx, £30 if you fancy it?

Cheers! It is a bit of a novel!!! :-)

Yeah i can make another solid front mount, its only the front mount mind, but it does make a huge difference.

An yeah, come to another team south meet, i should be there with the beast, i'l take you out for a spin!

Where an what is re.worx?

Will do bud.

Don't think i'm going to be able to do the rr day, cars still off the road, and can't really put a set date on it being done, cheers anyway.

You will probably be ok on a stage1 kit, its when you start going over 250/300bhp that you could do with the 4wd, but then thats also down to personal preference as there are a few people on here that run above that with fwd.

paul can you do mk2 conversion front mounts as well? the guy who does em on mk2vr6 is taking for ever to get back to me and its holding up my progress. need one to fit standard mk2 crossmember if its possible.

Doesn't someone sell them on ebay? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-Golf-Mk2-VR6-front-solid-engine-mount-/190417947006?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c55cb497e

Anyways.... fitted me manifold after fitting my original brake servo and master cylinder, because the mk4 r32 got in the way of the extra wastegate!

Oh and fitted a new genuine clutch master cylinder because the other one made the clutch line foul the wastegate.

Right, got the rebuild kit for my turbo yesterday, so spent the evening rebuilding it, then fitted it back in my car.
