Back on 6 cylinders but now a missfire?!?!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys i have recently changed my plugs and leads and also my dizzy cap after my vr would not start easy. Now its back on 6 cylinders but is still a pig to start and when ticking over its fine but if i throttle it it sounds like it missfires, if i throttle it slowly then its ok and will go all the way up the revs. I took it round the block and while i was gentle on the throttle it was fine but as soon as you give it some it dont like it and chugs and struggles tho i do have a blow at the manifold end of the exhaust, would this be a problem with the lambda sensor as vagcom brought up an error with the oxygen sensor saying the mixture is rich?? also as the engine heats up it gets very lumpy and eventually conks out and is still a bugger to start again!!!

Any ideas??
