alfy 7 Posted April 15, 2009 Report Share Posted April 15, 2009 Got a day off work sun is shining Here is my 8 hour spring cleanProducts usedMeguiars hyperwash (snowfoam)Meguiars gold class car washMeguiars wash mitt Autosmart G101 on door shuts engine, arches, window surrounds and rubberAutosmart smart wheelsAutosmart Tardis Werkstat Prime AcrylicWerkstat Acrylic trigger (3 coats 30mins between each coat)Meguiars metal polishMeguiars vinyl and rubber protectorAutosmart fast glass ProcessPre-foam with Hyperwash leave to dwell for 10 minsPressure washApply smart wheels leave to dwell for 2 mins clean using brush and old mitt then rinseApply G101 to arches leave to dwell for 2 mins then cleanApply G101 to engine leave to dwell, clean with brushes & cloth's rinse with mist spray attachmentWash car using gold class and wash mitt, rinsing with hoseApply Tardis leave to dwell for 2 mins one side of car at time then wipe with microphage cloth & rinseApply Tardis to wheelsRe-wash car and wheels with gold class then dryApply Werkstat Prime Acrylic with Meguiars microfibre applicator pad remove with poorboys plush towelApply 3 coats of Trigger with Poorboys delux mega towel Clean glass number plates and lights with glass cleanerPolish exhaustTreat tyres, engine bay and rubbers with vinyl and rubber protectorThe Werkstat Acrylic range has been the best I have used, really good on light colour cars.Here are the pictures:Now the hard part - Keeping it clean Link to post Share on other sites

alfy 7 Posted April 22, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 22, 2009 CheersLiving on a Peninsula surrounded by sea the car needs done every 2 months, I keep it toped up with Werkstat Gloss inbetween. At least the winter is over now sometimes it would be covered in sea salt after 10 mins. Just as well i like to detail it. Link to post Share on other sites
