stuartvr6hi 0
Hi guysI have a vf stage 2 supercharger kit on my vr and removed the cap on the oil catch tank and there was a small amount of creamy looking stuff. Anyway I removed the black sponge in the tank and the bottom of it was covered in cream. And inside the tank was a really watery looking clear oil. So I sucked it out PICTURE BELOW and there was loads of cream at the bottom of the tank. Am I right in thinking the head gasket is on its way out? There is no cream on the dipstick or oil cap. The water level has been the same for agesPlease helpCheers stuart

jabe 1
Hi Stuart,Do you do alot of short runs in the car?I know this is a cause of the mayonaise type stuff under oil filler caps.Usually happens in old timers cars. Might be the cause of that.It is an oil catch tank tho so i'd imagine you're supposed to get some oil in there. Are you losing coolant ?CheersJason
