nivag27 5
I was taking it to have the fly wheel replaced tomorrow and get them to tell me what wish bone bushes needed to be replaced, I went to get some petrol and it colapsed, still at least it doesn't need the wish bone bushes replaced lol, once I get these bits sorted I will concentrate on fixing the central locking and drivers door handle

VR6 VDF 0
Same happened to me a while back. Theres three bolts hold the ball joint onto the wishbone, they screw in from the bottom.Like mine, it looks like the bolts have worked loose and fallen out or broken off. whereever you get a new ball joint from, make sure you get 3 genuine bolts and the nut plate from VW an torque the bolts up to the correct torque. If you want it to be extra secure you can use three more nuts over the top as locking nuts.
