VR6-worcesternaf 0 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 i have tried a new switch and still not working! any ideas? i have a spare door loom i will be trying the weekend. also my speedo has stopped working. can someone please help as i'm new to the vr world! Bobtrude 0 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 This could be your mirror just dying of old age. Try taking it off and checking the wires for electricity with a multimeter (if there is the mirror is broken) if not there is something wrong with the loom/relay/fuse inside the car. The speedo could be your speed sensor is dead (also) or something wrong with the loom. (when your speedsensor dosnt work your car wont gain milage . VR6-worcesternaf 0 Posted April 30, 2009 Author Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 thing is what are the chances that both mirror motors are gone? were abouts is the speed sensor and were can i get a new one from?i quite like that it isnt putting miles on the car but i do need to no how fast im going through the dreaded speed cameras!
