Hey all,

just so I can keep track of things and get advice from y'all, this is where I'm going to keep all info on modding my golf.

I'm putting together a 'wishlist' of things I would like to get done. Due to finances, it'll probably only be one or maybe two things a month. TBD means to be decided; so names, links, prices and ideas are more than welcome!!!

Does it? Iv never fitted this. Where exactly do you fit these?

You can either put it just around/behind the speakers, or you can strip the whole door down.

stick it in the boot floor, rear quarters, behind speakers etc...

My friend done his scirocco in it and the difference is amazing, there was a quiet thud coming from the sub on the outside and when he opened the door all hell broke loose!

If you have a powerful system, it'll reduce chances of your rear window shattering!

of course it will, it stops resonating sounds and vibrations it does not stop sound pressure which is what blows windows out

i hate TINTS and sunstrips,so wrong... so i wouldnt start there...

id say sort the lights out, then debage it (free)

deep chin front spoiler 30quid

lower it, and sort some 2nd hand wheels out

while doing bits of audio....

btw... if its on standard VR suspension springs will not be enough,,,, shock will need doing ( just get cheap coilovers)

Heehee I like tints, sunstrip I'm still 50-50 on. I'm not changing the exterior of the car - body-wise....

Not gunna debadge it!!!! Wheels im undecided on. When i pick I'll lower then? Best to have the wheels on first before lowering, right?

doesnt really matter, mines down about 80mm on coilovers (cheap raceland ones) on 17s,

will look a tractor if you run 17's unlowered

Course I am gonna lower it lol, but I want to pick the wheels first; then lower around the wheels.
