sadken 0
Hi there. I am in the process of installing some Infinity after market speakers connected to an Amp in my 1996 Golf VR6 Highline. The problem I have is with the driver side (haven't tried any others yet) front speaker.I cannot seem to find a a way to route the speaker cable through the bit by the door hinge through to the car to enable me to route it back to the boot.I can't seem to find a way past he circular electrical block in this area. Can anyone offer any advice? supadupagt4 0
u can actually drill a hole in that big white connector thingy so that u can run thicker A/M cable through.just have a look where aboutsthere are no connectors plugged in. I did this on mine and it works great.tony.

Quick and easy and avoids messing with the multiblock on the door
CALICO 130
Best thing to do is to run your cable upto the tweeter in the dash add your crossover here if you are using one. The wiree then runs from here to your door speaker. So just find out which wire comes from the stereo and disconnect it sounds sweet with decent tweeters in dash. Piece of cake
sadken 0
Thanks for the advice. With a bit more daylight on my side today, I managed to squeeze the wire just near the top left hand side of the white power block...was a bit of a bitch but managed it without drilling. One other question, when it comes to the back speakers, as they are situated a long way from where they route through the door and into the cabin, is the best way to attach the new speaker cable to the exisiting speaker wire and then pull it through the door?Or do I need to take apart the door panel?
