Does anyone have either of the 2 with any pics they could post up and which one do you recommeneded? I would like them to have a slight blue tint without too much loss of penetration so i have been told that the 6000k are best as the 8000k are bluer with less penetration than the 6000k?Also are they legal and will they pass an mot? kicklikeamule 0 Posted September 8, 2009 Report Share Posted September 8, 2009 Isn't there something about aftermarket HID kits being illegal if you use them to modify a halogen unit, and the need to have headlamp washers? I was looking to upgrade mine, but was put off the idea when the retailer said they were illegal. Disappointing, because I've tried better bulbs but they still leave me wondering if there's something up with the loom. Has anyone tried tinkering with the headlight loom?
