thegoth 5
brake fluid would be good' date=' as your meant to bleed the whole system.. try euro car parts in colchester, and 5.1 is the best.. if you cnat get it, we'll get it tommorrow. so no fuss either way.[/quote']Just spoke to Euro car parts, they have Carlube 5.1 in stock in 500ml bottles so how many will i need du reckon? I can pick it up on the way through as i come from that direction anyway. probably best to get enough to do entire system as I'm guessing you dont know when it was last changed or if it's got 4 or 5.1 in at the moment. Cant find out how much that needs though. I've got some old stuff you can use in the jam jar during the bleed process.
jims13 6
ive no idea how much you need, im guessing around 3-4 bottles of 500 ml 5.
thegoth 5
I've got some old stuff you can use in the jam jar during the bleed process.scrub that, mines dot4. last time I had a garage change the valvers they used less than 1l but you'll need a far amount for the bleed process so I'd guess 3 bottles but it'll keep if unopened so you might not want to risk it for the cost of a fourth. VR6Nat 9
Yeah ill get 4, they're only a few quid each. (just gotta remember to load the coillies into my car. lol.

I saw them not so long ago and thought best remember where they were! By drill is fully charged although I have no decent bits.did you just bleed them or replace the entire system?
Ben Seabrook 4
just bleed them and you have to bleed the pump as well but as long as your quick taking the hoses off the pump you dont loose a lot of fluid
