brake fluid would be good' date=' as your meant to bleed the whole system.. try euro car parts in colchester, and 5.1 is the best.. if you cnat get it, we'll get it tommorrow. so no fuss either way.

Just spoke to Euro car parts, they have Carlube 5.1 in stock in 500ml bottles so how many will i need du reckon? I can pick it up on the way through as i come from that direction anyway. :)

probably best to get enough to do entire system as I'm guessing you dont know when it was last changed or if it's got 4 or 5.1 in at the moment. Cant find out how much that needs though. I've got some old stuff you can use in the jam jar during the bleed process.

scrub that, mines dot4.

last time I had a garage change the valvers they used less than 1l but you'll need a far amount for the bleed process so I'd guess 3 bottles but it'll keep if unopened so you might not want to risk it for the cost of a fourth.

Well I am going to bring my strut braces so can give Nige a hand with his and then we can do mine but should not be a biggie and am hoping Brett is going to turn up so we can have a go at the sunroof :) :)

Also when we did my ABS pump we only used one bottle of the brake fluid

I'll go looking for my strut tops then. thy gotta be here somewhere. I saw them not so long ago and thought best remember where they were! By drill is fully charged although I have no decent bits.

did you just bleed them or replace the entire system?

Yeah and i also have a steering wheel that was put on facing 11 o clock that is annoying and my center lights around my heater dials stopped working after i has a new pedal box.

So that could be somethin for someone who's bored to help me out with cuz it drives me insane!!!

(and my central locking has never worked! Lol)
