anna 0
ive got kaspersky but i'm no expert on these but have had no probs since xmas
amazak 3
Symantec corporate edition, best AV imo. Comes without all the useless other bits like firewalls internet protection etc. Basically these things just run in the background ustilising more memory and cpu usage. H13VYY 0
ESET Smart Security. Definitely the best iv had. Iv also had ZoneAlarm, Mcafee, and Norman. ZoneAlarm is my 2nd favourite. But ESET is defo the one to get.

Jonnyboy82 0
Windows live onecare, runs in the background and does not affect perfromance in any way at all unlike most other pooey security systems. That is if you are buying one if not id go with avg as its free.
shail 0
I used to use AVG Free edition, but swapped to Avast! Free Edition. Avast needs no user interaction once set up - it updates automatically, which is good for me as I have a few users on my PC who are not very computer minded. That and the Windows vista firewall and ive had no problems
Ben Seabrook 4
AVG for me....no probs at all with itx 2 and was recommended to me by a computer tech mate
mck684 0
The best free antivirus is Avira antivir, it has the highest detection rate of any, and windows firewall is perfectly adequate, so switch that on. a good antispyware is adaware (free) and a brilliant little program for removing malware/spyware is malwarebytes antimalware. i work in i.t and these are among the best and all free. good luck. Kelster 0
I would go with Kaspersky if you wanna pay, has always performed the best of all the solutions.KASPERSKY REVIEWCNET Review If not then go to AVG and zonealarm imo. Though if you are running 64bit Vista then I think AVG is not compatible.
