rigs 0
Smells disturbingly cheap.Though, off the top of my head: - No means to lower the compression of the engine - On standard injectors you're stuck at 250hp anyway - No software to run it - Dunno if the stock fuel pump is up to itIf it looks too good to be true... it normally is. thegoth 5
and of course being an american kit the manifold is for lhd
Tinks 0
cheers for the reply id be uprating the injectors and fuel pump, also id get it remapped when everything is done, what do you mean about the compression of the engine?
CALICO 130
when running turbos you need to lower the compression ratio by fitting a spacer plate between head and block then you need ARP bolts to bolt it all back down another £200 ish dont know how much the spacer plate is
craggsy 91
Standard compression is 10:1.......you need it down around 9:1.I'm doing this on mine using spacer plate and headgasket and im using supercharger. Want engine to be strong as I can afford
FishWick 21
and of course being an american kit the manifold is for lhdThat's not a problem. Guarantee it will be an ATP clone and they fit RHD cars no problemo! All you need to do is relocate the brake fluid resevoir which is very easy.As for the kit, it seems you get a heck of a lot of stuff for £900! Definitely too good to be true. Tinks 0
thanks kev i thought the manifold would be alright, obviously being for lhd its reversed, to good to be true hey lol, iv looked at a few kits on ebay and this looks by far the best as it got a hell of a lot of stuff, the sellars feedback is 99.1 possitive so must be fine, still just thinking about it at this stage but all in all do you lot think that kit is worth buying? if i went down the turbo route?tinks
Bobtrude 0
sorry mate but I would hate to see a vr6 guy end up with something that doesnt work. My advise: dont buy it, buy a used kit or save for a konetic or a charger of some sort (rotex)IT would be to bad if its just junk and you been fooled.
