I've done a liitle browse through the 100 pages on this thread, and there seems to be a general consensus on the spends of around £500? Is that fuel and laps inclusive?

Is anybody taking out insurance for the ring? Does anybody know if the VR breaks the noise restrictions with a two box system, decat and six branch?

Some people will insist you wear a helmet when having a ride in their car. I'd recommend a helmet at all times, simply because some people are idiots. I'd also recommend leaving it 30 minutes after a track closure before going out onto the track.

Also, make sure you don't switch passengers obviously in the car park. They're pretty hot on people being unofficial taxis. No matter how much you protest, if they think you're a taxi, you'll be banned. Also, that insurance covers you for Armco repairs (which can easily be thousands of Euros) but does not cover you for recovery (200 Euros), damage to your car or third party damage, which is your biggest risk, IMO. I hear there are insurers that cover 3rd party risks but nobody will let on who they are in case some muppet takes out insurance with them and then has to claim.

Are there any restrictions or eye brows raised at cars having sponsorship decal's or advertising on them? Our car will have some company decals on it' date=' and don't want it to cause any prob's.

Right, got my helmet sorted craig LOL. Inb4sexjokes.

Hi vis vest also pretty much sorted. That just leaves the passport, money... Hate buying euros or any form of currency for that matter. Also health insurance/travel insurance.

Good idea to take medical card too.
