chrisgbrindley 0
This is my very early golf VR6 It was registered 28/04/1992 and only has 3 owners. I bought it in 2002 before I had a Polo 16v. When I bought it the head gasket had gone and I was advised to change the whole engine as early golfs had the wrong anti freeze in them which ate away at the head!I got an automatic 96/97 engine for £300 and swapped the gearbox over. Its been quite a good car if you can afford the fuel! It let me down in May when I blew the origanal box which was 12 years old so I bought a Corrado 2.9 box which has shorter ratios. Im going to be changing a few things on it in the next six months, some skirts & a bit of tidy up aswell as some angel eyes and LED rear clusters & side repeaters this weekend, maybe a few Wolfsburg bits. Boring worn interior %-6 I didnt just drive it out of the water either! [ Edited ]

chrisgbrindley 0
The dash is black & blue it actually looks okay. robvr6 0
nowt wrong with a blue dash !! especially if you've got a blue car..dare to be different, i actually prefer this to black, makes the interior too dark, imo[ Edited Mon Nov 22 2004, 04:14PM ]
Nerih 0
blue with blue looks good, but blue dash in any other car looks imo bad...in my highline i can just about stand the purple leather .
jezmoz 0
the blue interior looks wank, hence why i'm gonna repalce it all with black the blue looks super dated!!!

antera309 3
Amazingly (or maybe not!) American VW enthusiasts go mad for the blue Mk3 interiors 'cos they were never available over there.I had to get rid of the blue, it was making my eyes go funny:
silverline 0
ouch that is blue! mines a 94 with blue interior, i hate it, but didnt think it was as blue as that! the seat pattern is different as well.

antera309 3
By the way, chrisgbrindley, because your VR was registered before 1/8/92, you can fit a de-cat pipe and still pass MOTs!!!
