Jonnyboy82 0
The past few weeks or so i have noticed a slight hesitation when i accelerate and today i took the car out on a long journey and its got worse, it hesitates alot more, more often than not.Sometimes it hesitates but feels like more of a jolting 2 or 3 times. Is this just a simple case of cleaning the maf or could it be something else?Im pretty sure its not the spark plugs or leads as i only changed them recently when i serviced the car. VR6Nat 9
yeah thats a good list to work through, the coilpack cracking is very common, Id start with leads, plugs, colipack, then maf, try running it without the maf on and see if it improves, make sure all your plugs and leads are in snug (can just be a silly thing sometimes) Then have a good look round the coilpack (try plugging urs into someone elses if you have someone that has a vr near by)if not then move onto the other things.....Good luck!! Coyney26 0
sonds like its your coilpack mate! i had same problem! Take off each hd lead one at a time and if it starts bucking and missfiring its had it! Remember to put them back on correctly and dont get a shock! I tried repairing mine but its not worth it,just buy new as its a common fault on them!
