UKG Grant 1 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Share Posted July 10, 2009 I think you should be ok, there main things they go for are your insurance and road tax. if you booked the MOT test before you may have possible been caught that would also go in your favour, im not sure what the fine/points is for not having an MOT, but I know people that have been driving for 4-5 months without an MOT and only found out when they went to tax it that they didn’t have one. Ben Seabrook 4 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Share Posted July 10, 2009 yeah think you should be ok - don't think they would bother looking at the rest of your documents they would just give you the ticket - and I think that not having an MOT is not a points / fine thing - they just give you a certain amount of time in order to get one done ?? It wasnt insured as I was changing policies. Then soon as I got her insured he pulled me and said "you have no MOT" I replied I didn't know and he said "Well we dont worry to much about that anyway I checked you car last week on your drive and it wasn't insured but it is now so be on your way" So with a bit of luck you will be alright dude.
