thegoth 5 Posted July 13, 2009 Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 My indicators stopped working yesterday. Hazard switch works and they all flash, parking lights work. Tried another stalk and no difference. Does any one have a turn signal wiring diagram? The one in the haynes GTi book is crap and I can't read my other one as the scans are poor. daleyboyVR6 6 Posted July 13, 2009 Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 On my Rado the relay is number 21 on the top right of the fuse box, have you checked the fuse i think mines no 17......i know its a stupid question nige, but someone had to ask it.....................the corrado iirc is the same as the mk2 golf so no help.......................... :-p Link to post Share on other sites
thegoth 5 Posted July 13, 2009 Author Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 it seems to be a loose connection around the fuse board. F17 itself is intact but after checking it they work. Looking at the diagrams I've got, the supply for the hazard lights does not go through F17 which is why they worked,Will keep an eye on them. Felt such a BMW driver without them. Was going to refresh my hand signals but I doubt anyone actually knows them these days. Are they still actually in the highway code? Link to post Share on other sites

From what ive read on the corrado forum the indicators go through this relay and fuse but the hazards dont as you've described. Most people either say its this relay, a fuse, or a dodgy connection...........i use many hand signals...................none of them are in the highway code............. :-p Link to post Share on other sites

I do need to drop the relay board out but it keeps showering.ha ha pmsl !! yeah felt exaclty the same when mine gave up the ghost and you get so many filthy looks !! dont know how BMW drivers manage to go without for so long !!if i havent got to the bottom of it before Friday I'll have to sit in the middle of the convoy cos i couldn't bare the guilt. even knowing they don't work, I'm still moving the stalk.
