xyber 1
mounted mine on the underside of the passenger side chassis leg, made up a T shape out of ally angle, bolted on and gobbed on underseal just incase, then bolted the cooler to the underside of that T shape and it now sits right behind the bumper vent. As I have a 16 row I needed 90 deg bends coming off the bottom of the cooler to keep them up out the way, but if you have a 13 row that will be fineWorks too well, Ive had to cover the front face of the cooler and leave the back to work as a heat sink and now its spot on

rodney 17
Mr. Potter have a read of the supercharging stiky thread. I did a how to when mine was done.... there are a couple of potentials...http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?155255.
craggsy 91
I dont think mine will be in direct airflow myself so might have to run some ducting to it
Bobtrude 0
I have mounted mine in the grill so it gets direct airflow. Im running 1 bar and after 25 min of hard driving on track my oil is showing 120C ant that was a warm day. I run the RDS 19 row cooler. One problem: when getting the BIG nut off the bolt that runs trough the oil/water heat exchanger ( needs to come apart for mounting the new and longer bolt) you need a BIG wrench to hold the bolt down. I bolted mine to a table with a beefy bolt and managed to get it off after some agression .

craggsy 91
Ive just got a 13 row but "only" running circa 300bhp
golfrabbit33 0
the 19 was needed for over 400hp , but 13,if i remember rightly will do fine for 300hp, a thermostat was also mentioned to stop over cooling on wet or cold days, maybe something to consider too. ps ONLY
jims13 6
well , i ve yet to buy the cooler, but i cant see a 13 row not doing the job, i dont wanna freeze the oil, just cool it a bit. space is a issue for me, but im thinking behind my front grill as my intercooler stops were that starts., or i may stick it behind me passenger side morrete, as i have a small battery and no second lights, just mesh
Bobtrude 0
The rsd kit comes with a thermostat so the oil flows trough the cooler when hot, but does not close all the way when going for a short drive (keeping the oil flowing). Warmup to 80C takes maybe 4 min more with the cooler.
