Edmonzo 0
How long do your tyres last on your VR? I bought 4 Michelin pilot sports in August and now the fronts are close to illegal. The guy at the Michelin garage says that my tracking is out - but I thought the tracking would affect 1 side of the tyre - my tyres are worn equally across the tyre.I knew the VR was going to be expensive to run but I can't be spending £170 for 2 front tyres every 4 months.Any recommendations for long life tyres?Cheers
Eat this 2
camber affects 1 side of the tyre trackin would wear all of it or maybe even the outside more than the inside if the wheels r pointin toward wachother[ Edited Mon Nov 22 2004, 12:53PM ]
acf8181 0
which michelin pitlots are they?i had michelin pilot sports and they last about five mins, and were very poor grip.try some uniroyal rallye540's, much better grip and wear rate.oh, and stop wheelspinning everywhere! lolit is worth getting a full camber and tracking check...most places can only do tracking though. if you're near london, feltham tyres are very good. tommy 0
I got about 25k on my good year's (standard 15")and about the same on my rainsport's but they are 17s.........i'm suprised that tracking and camber would cause the tyres to wear so even thought....ive only had tyres wear on the edges in the past due to camber /tracking!
