Oldirtybastard 0 Posted August 1, 2009 Report Share Posted August 1, 2009 Hello,Looks like my front brake pads and discs are on the way out.Rather than getting some standard VAG parts what upgrades can i get without too much hassle.Im after something that feels factory but better than the 288mm ones that come on the VR6.I've heard of people using 312mm out of a TT etc but im not in the know how.They need to fit behind my fron 8x16 et20 schmidt th lines.T Link to post Share on other sites

craggsy 91 Posted August 2, 2009 Report Share Posted August 2, 2009 Well the step from 288s to 312s is not a massive step but still an improvement. 280s to 312s is massive step as 280s have smaller pads.288s have same pad as 312s so easy option is new discs and better pads such as EBC or the DS2500/3000 depending on use and budget.I have EBC yellows all round and stop really well with 312s Link to post Share on other sites
