bungy 2
Well today I got my service items ie oil and filter for my Haldex clutch. I had to order the filter removal tool as the filter is in an almost impossible place to reach. All items are available from GSF. So here is what you'll need:1. Haldex filter built into the cap2. Haldex oil which comes in a 275ml cartridge3. Removal tool or improvise your own, alot easier with the correct tool4. 5mm and 6mm allen keysWhen you remove the drain plug with the 5mm allen key the oil free flows but it is advised to pre-warm which can be done by driving first. The filter cap is hidden away and hard to get to, hence the specialist tool. The tell tale plug is undone by a 6mm allen key. Oil issuing from here shows when the oil is at the correct level. The tolerance for oil level is up to 3mm below this hole. When I dropped the oil out of mine it was pretty grim, so I flushed with one cartridge and then refilled with another. A bit extravagant I know but my service history showed it missed its last oil change so it can't hurt. This was possibly due to some confusion by service managers on the periodocity of service where it changed from oil and filter every 40k to oil every 20k, with filter every 40k.
