jonny-5 10
Good day,My Golf VR6 have some rust on the boot lid and I have the chance of getting a Golf CL boot lid in very good condition and in the same colour. As mine's a VR6 it has the spoiler which is fitted with bolts through the glass. The CL boot glass does not have the holes for it so I was thinking of swapping the glass over but it looks a bit tricky.Does anyone know how to do it, or am I better off holding out for a VR6/GTI spec lid? jonny-5 10
Reckon it's gunna be bonded in, so would be a bit of a mission to do. Managed to get hold of a GTI boot lid anyway in near mint condition (same colour too) for a very reasonable price, so problem solved

hvr6 88
oh someone told me they would... have to break it carefully then with a big sheet on the parcel shelf
The Monk 50
Heating element would be fixed with a special metal based paint to repair the breaks. So that isn't a plausable reason for them to splash out for you.
