VR6Pete 1,455
I'm 360 miles in so far, good so far! Should be on 500+ miles when I'm back from wales. Then oil change time. Silky smooth but broken the bonnet catch clip grrr so can't currently pop the bonnet daveyboy
VR6Pete 1,455
Over 500 miles done so far, mostly covered in wales Been a real good week although came back earlier due to heavy rain flooding the camp site!I ended up buying a roof rack and box with taking 2 kids, 8 birth tent, the mrs and a puppy!Wasn't all trouble free though! Broke the bonnet release cable on the release mechanism so had to order this: http://www.gruvenparts.com/billet-corrado-hood-cable-clip/ and hopefully should be able to open my bonnet again doh! Also need a new bonnet latch as that has somehow got bent so need order a new one! Might also need a crank sensor too as sometimes takes a while to start intermittently ( it did this before on my old engine too ). Also as you know I've been working on an OEM style exhaust for the Corrado in stainless with stealth racing and dub power. Some progress on this with tinkering the fitment: Still some more work to do on the tailpipe in terms of making it look more like a Corrado one, but good progress so far!Next thing on the list is an oil and filter change now I've covered 500 miles on the new engine. VR6Pete 1,455
Ah that's how that works, couldn't figure out how that block went lol I actually think its meant for LHD cars as I think its the wrong way around! Still does the job and I have confidence in opening my bonnet again! was a bit of a faff to fit and had a bit of a mare as when I fist fitted I pulled the handle and the bonnet didn't open Just needed some minor adjustment in the end Next job is to sort my blowing exhaust where I fitted my decat and then onto restoring the steering wheel / gear knob! Will be down at Shakespeare county raceway this weekend with thegoth and @dlea and the other 15 degree racing guys for racing a good times!
VR6Pete 1,455
Nothing new really! On 1,800 miles on the new engine! Still some way to go mind. Sorted the exhaust and sounds awesome again, getting closer to being run in so can give it a bit more on the roads Need order a bonnet latch though. Bealieboy

What's the Italian method, I've never heard that before but take it it means flat out?The Italian method is normally used for blowing cobwebs out of the Mrs car after it's been to the shops and pottering about for a month or 2.
