Its a 1995 m reg standard vr6 150k on the clock full vdub service history every 10k all reciepts from new and only had 2 owners the body work is immaculate the only real mod is a badgeless grille (or did they ever do them like this fron factory) engine is smooth as no noises whats so ever! would anybody be suprised if i say i paid £800? also im wanting to keep it as standard as possible but get it looking smart to i.e lowering maybe new alloys but not touching the body work any suggestions tip etc?thanks in advance DRU
vr6binks 0
it sounds like a good buy mate, why not keep it subtle mate and just get some coilovers, smart alloys and an exhaust system for it !!
thegoth 5
Hi Dru,sounds a bargain but not completely surprised. Prices seemed to have crashed recently.Get some pics up in the members rides section.Does it have the plastic wheel arches? To keep it OEM+ remember that there have been a number of limited edition mk3 golfs to rob parts from. i.e. I've got the smoked indicators and foglights from a mk3 anniversary (?) and interior from a colour concept.Try GPC Audi, details in address book, for such VW parts cheap and fresh badges. Always bring things up a treat. Although by all accounts there are no front VR6 badges left in the country.
