pistons and rings

hi all im after a set of brand new pistons and rings, im after a set that offer the standard compression ratio but maby over sized if thats possibe,

or what would best set

where can i get them thanks

is this the standard compression ratio 10.0:1?

and standard bore size 82mm??

what over size can i get without bore the barrel??

well i think my rings are on there way out so im going to rebuild the engine with new pistons ring and conrods and bolts,

then fit some big cams and supercharge the engine, looking for around 300bhp

but first i need to no where i can get some parts ( piston rings, pistons and so on, )

im no looking to lower the compression just wont oe

if only 300 hp, then you dont really have to go super dooper rods n pistons, would be good to have,but the vr will cope fine below 350hp. standard pistons are quite strong,mine are and i run another 140 on top of your 300. think more about an lsd and some triple 8`s,cos at 300 you will have traction problems . if you do get pistons then wossner from germany.rods are plenty on fleabay and bolts and ecu work come from c2 motorsport on here.

are wossner pistons the best pistons for vr6 then? with FI?

it seems most f/i people think so, german made and dont hear of problems with them. i would buy wossner myself.

I think Mahle are a good make aswell. If I ever get the money together then I will be putting Mahle in mine.
