bally303 0 Posted August 20, 2009 Author Report Share Posted August 20, 2009 81mm is standard. what is your plan?well i think my rings are on there way out so im going to rebuild the engine with new pistons ring and conrods and bolts,then fit some big cams and supercharge the engine, looking for around 300bhpbut first i need to no where i can get some parts ( piston rings, pistons and so on, )im no looking to lower the compression just wont oe Link to post Share on other sites
golfrabbit33 0 Posted August 23, 2009 Report Share Posted August 23, 2009 if only 300 hp, then you dont really have to go super dooper rods n pistons, would be good to have,but the vr will cope fine below 350hp. standard pistons are quite strong,mine are and i run another 140 on top of your 300. think more about an lsd and some triple 8`s,cos at 300 you will have traction problems . if you do get pistons then wossner from germany.rods are plenty on fleabay and bolts and ecu work come from c2 motorsport on here.
