acf8181 0 Posted November 28, 2004 Report Share Posted November 28, 2004 i was never last of the late breakers but i did used to cut it a little fine to say the least thats the 1 thing i just dont do anymore im not 100% sure y but i havnt done for bloody ages put me on a track and il have a go hehewell, believe me you'll find it hard to make yourself brake late enough on track at first! its crazy how late you can brake, but once you get it dialed its really easy for some reason. i'd say that was the hardest thing to learn, for me anyway. acf8181 0 Posted November 28, 2004 Report Share Posted November 28, 2004 yep...been there, done that! loli think every one does, but thats better than flying straight off into the gravel and rolling. what i do is start at a fairly leasurely braking point and then work it down gradually till i run wide from braking too late. on a fford car the brakles are cold first lap anyway, and the way i found to know there hot enough is when the fumes are intoxicating you its just right! lol Link to post Share on other sites
